A Cup Win For The Yellows After A Thriller

By Gary Thomas

Dunvant & Three Crosses Greens and Yellows served up a cracker of a cup final at Ammanford AFC

Ammanford AFC hosted this season's league cup final between the Greens and Yellows of Dunvant & Three Crosses

It was a cracking game with no quarter given and chances galore in front of a large vocal crowd

Daniel O'Brien opened the scoring after 12 minutes for the greens with a well taken goal but just 4 minutes later Jamil Mroue equalised for the Yellows. The first half continued with both sides going all out for the next goal but half time came with the score level at 1-1

On 59 minutes the Greens retook the lead through Ben Davies but again the Yellows levelled when Player of The Match Kim Leese equalised.

The score remained at 2-2 and the game went into extra time with both sides have chances to win the game

The dreaded penalties came and it was the Yellows goalkeeper Jayden Evans who was the hero with two saves and the Yellows won the shootout 4-2
