Garden Village at the 2016 / 2017 Season Champions

Full credit to both sides for an excellent game that saw Garden Village win 2-1 against Pontarddulais Youth and win the Richmond Apparel WWYL Grand Final

Garden Village took the lead after just 5 minutes through a great strike from Owen Cartwright and they looked to be going into half time in the lead. It wasn't to be though as Tian Foster scored from close range following a corner

After Tian Foster headed over from close range for Pontarddulais Youth it was Garden Village's Harry Smith who got them back in the lead as he scored from close range.

Despite two excellent free kicks late on, with one hitting the post, Pontarddulais Youth could not get the goal their second half performance deserved and it was Village who went on to win

Man of the Match, awarded by Jon Hughes of Richmond Apparel, was Harry Lawson of Garden Village
