Rules Revision Meeting - 9th March

Advance notice is hereby given in accordance with Rule 23 that the League's Rules Revision meeting will take place at the Globe Inn, Loughor on Monday 9th March 2020, commencing at 7.00 p.m.
If you have any proposed alterations to the Rules then I will need to receive details of the proposed alterations no later than 24th February 2020. Proposals may be sent by either post or email. Any proposals received after 24th February will not be able to be considered.

Any proposed rule change should, as far as possible, set out the wording of the rule as you would like it to appear in the rule book.

To make you aware, alterations to the Rules require a two-thirds majority of the votes cast. Any changes to our rules will also require the approval of the WWFA before coming in to force (which will be for the start of the 2020/21 season). Further, attendance by clubs at the Rules Revision Meeting is compulsory and a failure to attend will result in fines being imposed on non-attending clubs.

The Committee are aware of substantial changes needing to be made due to the implementation of the Comet system. These changes will be made to the rules when the implementation is complete. In the meantime 6 (a) and (b) of the constitution will continue to apply in the event of a conflict.
