As we move into October, and the cup competition, we look back on September here on the West Wales Youth League which was affected by the weather on some occasions
In Adran Nedd, Ragged School lead the way with 3 wins out of 3 but have yet to play fellow Swansea sides Mumbles Rangers and St Josephs who have both started the season well
In Adran Cothi, Giants Grave are on top with 3 wins out of 4 games but Penlan, who remain unbeaten after their 2 games, will be challenging them. Pontardawe Town are frustrated having only played one full game with their two games against Llandeilo ending up being abandoned and forfeited by the visitors. There has been a goal fest in this division two with Giants Grave averaging 6 goals a game and Penlan a massive 9 goals a game.
In Adran Tawe, both Pontarddulais Blacks and Killay remain unbeaten after 3 games.
October starts with the West Wales Youth League Cup with 9 ties on October 5th
Top goalscorers in September were Clan Griffiths (Giants Grave / 10 goals) and Oliver Goulding (Sandfields / 6 goals)
