It's Ynystawe Athletic At The Double

Ynystawe Athletic completed a league and cup double as they won the Play Off Final against Dunvant & 3 Crosses Greens at Richmond Park.

It was an excellent game played in good spirit on a sunny day at the home of Carmarthen Town FC

Ynystawe Athletic edged the first half with respect to chances but Dunvant & 3 Crosses Greens looked dangerous on the break.

After the break the Dunvant & 3 Crosses Greens dominated possession and nearly scored when a header was cleared off the line. Then, and somewhat against the run of play, Ynystawe Athletic took the lead through Joe Marshall who capitalised on a defensive laps by the Greens

With v then went chasing an equaliser but there was always a risk they would get exposed at the back. Chances did come for but they were dealt a blow on 87 minutes when Ynystawe's Tomos Davies rounded the keeper and blasted home his side's second.

It was too late for Dunvant & 3 Crosses Greens to get something out of the game and Ynystawe Athletic celebrated the double
